We thank you for your cooperation in ensuring that our conferences are a safe and inclusive professional development environment.

Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes any harassment related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion. Inappropriate or unwelcome sexual attention is considered a form of harassment. Inappropriate comments, jokes, or imagery related to race, ethnicity, or any category mentioned above is strictly prohibited. HPCA has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind at HPCA events. Participants found to be violating this policy will be asked to leave the event, regardless of role, responsibility, or previous agreements. Participants are not entitled to a refund if found violating HPCA’s code of conduct. Participants are expected to maintain professional behavior standards while participating in HPCA events, and excessive intoxication is not permitted.

The terms of this policy extend to all conference venues, including educational sessions, social activities, and online media. Participants will be asked to stop all harassing or inappropriate behavior if observed or reported to HPCA staff and will be expected to comply immediately. HPCA holds the right to remove any participant from an HPCA event at its sole discretion, and such participants are not eligible for refunds. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately.
